Leading Teens closer to Christ
Celebration of Catholic Youth of African Descent Youth Day is a one-day event created to celebrate the giftedness and beauty of Catholics of African Descent within the local church of Galveston-Houston. The day is designed to attract junior and senior high school students, providing them with a forum to discern, reflect, fellowship, and celebrate the love of Christ with their peers. Fr. Houston Okonma will share on this year's theme “Have you been Changed”. The theme is based on the reading from Matthew 17: 2 "And he was transfigured before them; his face shone like the sun and his clothes became white as light."
